Budapest, 12.04.2024 – The BOTANIQ Collection, the umbrella brand of the BDPST Group, which unites hotels and gastronomic units, and its loyalty programme, the BOTANIQ Benefit, were presented to the international and domestic trade and press at an impressive event in the Pesti Vigadó. The brand created by the BDPST Group comprises hotels and gastronomic establishments that, although different in theme, share the same approach to their environment and values. The unique collection currently has eight members – including BOTANIQ Castle of Tura, Andrássy Kúria & Spa in Tarcal and Melea – The Health Concept in Sárvár – and will be expanded with more units in the future.

The BOTANIQ Collection was presented to the international trade and media representatives at the Pest Vigadó on 11 April. During the event, the guests were taken on a BOTANIQ “educational trail”, where they could learn about the history, the gastronomic concept and the experiences offered by the units in the “secret gardens”. The units in the BOTANIQ Collection portfolio are unique because of their personality and their story, making them special destinations with an authentic atmosphere, reminiscent of home. The brand is a guarantee for guests that they will always enjoy the quality, standards and experience they have come to expect in its restaurants and hotels.

The BOTANIQ Collection was represented separately at the event:

  • The “flagship” of the brand, the BOTANIQ Castle of Tura and its restaurant, Clarisse. Inspired by the style of Loire châteaux, the hotel has won numerous international tourism awards since its opening in 2020, while the restaurant has been recommended by the Michelin Guide Hungary.
  • Opened in 2022, Budapest’s Verno House and Michelin-recommended Flava Kitchen & More restaurant, whose urban oasis concept pays homage to the history of Budapest’s first park, Szabadság tér.
  • The Andrássy Mansion & Spa in Tarcal, and the Michelin-recommended Bobajka Restaurant and Café, which offers unique experiences of the wine region all year round in the heart of Tokaj-Hegyalja.
  • The Melea – The Health Concept, a unique, holistic, health-focused longevity hotel in Sárvár, offers personalised treatments and programmes.
  • The BOTANIQ Buda Club, the first private club in Hungary with an Anglo-Saxon model, opened in the autumn of 2023 on Svábhegy, naturally blending in with the green belt.

The exclusive event also marked the debut of the Hungarian brand’s loyalty program, BOTANIQ Benefit, which is an essential part of the umbrella brand. BOTANIQ Benefit allows regular customers who regularly visit BOTANIQ Collection units to earn loyalty points, which not only provide them with unique discounts and benefits, but also allow them to become members of an active community.

The BOTANIQ Collection is more than a brand. It’s about creating value and telling stories based on our traditions and heritage. It is strongly connected to nature while providing a unique, contemporary guest experience and communicating value. All the pieces in the collection have been meticulously and carefully designed to serve the well-being, relaxation and rejuvenation of our guests,” said Ráhel Orbán, Creative Director of BDPST Group, Managing Director of BDPST Koncept, one of the creators of the BOTANIQ Collection brand. “The brands we create, I believe, contribute to keeping our values and traditions alive,” she added.

The BDPST Group aims to be a catalyst for the development of tourism in Hungary, including the high-end segment. The unique experiences offered by the members of the BOTANIQ Collection and the newly debuted BOTANIQ Benefit loyalty programme all serve the purpose of attracting new guests to Hungary and Budapest,” said Zoltán Somlyai, CEO of BDPST Hotel Management Zrt.

The festive launch event of the BOTANIQ Collection was accompanied by a CSR activity expressing the values of the brand. The Fairy Garden, a member of the Fairy Garden Movement for the preservation of indigenous Hungarian tree species, was presented by the Senyorita Public Benefit Association, which drew the attention of the guests to the importance of preserving our natural heritage and supporting disadvantaged children and communities.
