The castle in Neo-Renaissance style, the construction of which was ordered by Baron Sigmund Schossberger in 1883, was underused for decades, and its state deteriorated significantly. Following the extensive historical reconstruction carried out by BDPST Group, BOTANIQ Castle of Tura opened its doors in its original glory with 19 guest rooms, a park with ancient trees on 10 and a half hectares, a wellness division and two restaurants in 2020. The rooms include Superior and Deluxe rooms with a more intimate atmosphere as well as elegant suites, so the guests can select to their own taste before their arrival. During the day they can take long walks among the wonderful plants of the castle park, they can try the tennis courts or relax in the special treatment rooms, Finnish sauna, salt room, steam room or outdoor as well as indoor pools of the spa division. Furthermore, the hotel also has a separate fitness centre with a yoga terrace, which the guests can use during their stay.

BOTANIQ Castle of Tura is also outstanding from a professional point of view, considering that it has received a number of recognitions since its opening: it was awarded with the Landscape Architecture Award 2021, the Booking.com Traveller Review Awards 2021 as well as the ‘Best European Castle Hotel 2021’ and the ‘Best 5-Star Hotel in Hungary 2022’ in the International Travel Awards competition. In 2022, the hotel finished second at the FIABCI Real Estate Development Excellence Award competition, and it finished first in the Hotels category.  Furthermore, the hotel was awarded in more categories at the Klasszis TopDesign award ceremony. Its restaurant, Clarisse, became the best fine dining restaurant of Hungary at the International Dining Awards. The hotel awaits its guests with its romantic atmosphere and excellent dining experiences in the Palm House and Clarisse restaurants.
